On June 25, 2025, British television personality Jamie Laing and his wife, Sophie Habboo, shared a playful parody of Meghan Markle’s now-viral “Baby Mama Dance” video, sparking a light-hearted response from the official Royal Family Instagram account.
Jamie and Sophie’s video recreated the dance on a red-carpeted staircase inside Buckingham Palace. They humorously mirrored Meghan and Prince Harry’s moves to the same song, which worked great because Sophie is also pregnant.

The text on the video reads, “The Royal Baby has arrived,” and their caption stated, “They said we couldn’t film in Buckingham Palace… @sophiehabboo @kingstrust.” As of this writing, the post has garnered over 70,000 likes.
Meanwhile, Meghan’s original video, posted to her Instagram account on June 4, showed her dancing joyfully while heavily pregnant with daughter Lilibet, accompanied by Prince Harry in a hospital room.

The clip was captioned, “Four years ago today, this also happened,” and went on to explain that both of their children had been overdue, and dancing was their final effort to induce labor.

Set to Starrkeisha’s “The Baby Momma Dance,” the moment highlighted a carefree and candid side of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that quickly spread online and, as evidenced above, sparked many different reactions.
Almost two weeks later, Meghan herself reflected on the video during a June 17 conversation on “Aspire with Emma Grede.”
